Living in community with one another is an integral piece of our God-given design as human beings. One of the best and most edifying ways to go about doing this successfully is through service to one another - just like Jesus. Check out some of our great opportunities to get connected in service and fellowship at First Baptist!

BAPTISM

…anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun!  - 2 Corinthians 5:17

Have you committed to follow Jesus for the rest of your life? Are you ready to take the next step in your faith? Then you’re ready for baptism!

We believe baptism is a celebration event!  Because we’ve gone from death to life, we’re celebrating NEW LIFE in Christ when we get baptized.

To find out more about baptism and how you can be baptized at FBC, click here to fill out our baptism info form or contact Pastor Derek at dmetro@fbcstockton.org.

PROCLAIM

Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity. - 1 Timothy 4:12

Proclaim is for young adults who are in a post high school life phase. Working class, college, trying to do both, still figuring it out. Our objectives are reflective of the beginning church in Acts. To live out the great commission through prayer, learning God's word and community.

We know that we can't do it alone! First, we need Christ in our lives. Second, we need to be around other believers who are like-minded who can encourage each other in times of need.

We are a community of believers that meet on Sunday nights in fellowship with other believers as we hear God's word with a message and contemporary worship. We are passionate about learning God's word, sharing our faith, spreading God's love, and having fun while doing it.
